This course is running as part of LPW's involvement with Mental Health Awareness Week (12th - 18th May 2025), bringing a focus on the benefits of being involved with making art and expressing yourself visually.
LPW is running a series of free workshops through the week with a variety of partner organisations. The proceeds from this course will go towards making these workshops accessible and to help fund the free access work LPW does for families accessing their drop ins all year round.
This is very much from the point of view of connecting your mind and body through the medium of the materials with some guided making.
Through a series of simple exercises, you will be guided through periods of making, thinking and meditating. A time to de-stress, enjoy the simplicity of process and feeling the materials in your hand, you will experience Monoprint in an essential and fundamental form.
