This follow on course is perfect for those who wish to take their relief printing further and those who have completed Intro to Print. Broken into two weeks, you will explore reduction linocutting to create a small edition of a three layer linocut print. Sarah will show you how to work from one single block, and you will learn how to cut and add colour by printing in stages, removing more from the surface of the block as you register and print in layers. You will learn about print registration, colour and planning your layered image ready to translate into beautiful relief printwork.

About the Tutor
I am an artist and printmaker based in Leicester, in the heart of the East Midlands. Since graduating from a Fine Art Degree in 1984 and being a member of the Leicester Society of Artists, I have been working as a professional printmaker producing work for my portfolio, commercial illustrations and private commissions. Over the past 35 years I have also been involved in working with museums, art collections and a number of Art Residencies and I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to regularly exhibit work with fellow artists, both locally and nationally throughout the UK.
