Volunteers make a significant contribution to the work of LPW, and we are committed to creating meaningful and productive roles for volunteers that will enable them to develop skills, knowledge and experience.
We currently have volunteer opportunities in the following areas:
Studio - Our roster of studio volunteers is currently full and we are not accepting anymore applications.
We run a very busy studio with lots of active artist members so sometimes we may need a little help keeping the studio spick and span! Studio volunteers help the technician team with regular stock checks, materials prep for courses and maintenance in individual technique areas. Please get in touch with us through info@leicesterprintworkshop.com if this sounds interesting!
Garden
We have a small inner city garden which needs semi-regular maintenance, so if you have green fingers and you'd like to help, please get in touch with us through info@leicesterprintworkshop.com.
Events
We run a number of busy public events throughout the year including Cultural Quarter Earlies once a month to encourage a love of printmaking in Leicester's kids, a number of local festivals including Leicester Mela, Highfields Festival and Spark Arts Festival and our beloved annual Print Fair. If you'd like to get involved, please get in touch with us through info@leicesterprintworkshop.com.
